These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Yieldy (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Yieldy is a secure, web-based application that provides data visualisation tools for producers in the meat and livestock industries. It is provided free of charge for individual use. Yieldy is not open source, and all intellectual property rights are reserved.

2. Use of the Service

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Victoria;
  • Use the Service for lawful purposes only;
  • Refrain from misusing the platform or attempting to disrupt its operation or security.

You must not:

  • Access or use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the platform;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Yieldy.

To access the Service, users are required to register using their full name and email address. This information is used solely for authentication and access control. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and for any activity under their account.

Yieldy does not collect or retain any animal-level, carcase, or abattoir data entered during the use of the platform. Such data is processed locally in the user's browser session and is not stored on Yieldy's servers.

Only user authentication data—name and email address—is securely stored to facilitate access and maintain account integrity.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, code, layout, branding, and software components of the Service are the property of the Yieldy team and are protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and other applicable intellectual property laws. No part of the platform may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written consent.

6. Independence

Yieldy is an independently developed and maintained platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other commercial or proprietary data analysis services. Any resemblance in format, layout, or functionality is coincidental or the result of standard design and data visualisation conventions.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.

Any similarities between the layout, output, or analytical structure of Yieldy and other platforms are either coincidental or reflect common standards in dashboard design and data presentation.
